Some of the site's I have worn out on a regular basis.
Information is the key to a good build. Most all of these site's I have built a great relationship with because they are simply people who have been where you are. No talking over your head,no sarcasm,no question...just good old fashion help. In the 80's when I first got my car the supply of info and parts were scarce to say the least.Plenty of money and time were wasted due to simply poor info and disinterested help.It was a sellers market. Hopefully this will help your project get to the show, strip or cruise much quicker.

A weekend of an unimaginable size poured on Big Blue entering the 06' "Pontiacs in the Park" event at Virginia Motorsports Park. Winning the High Performance Pontiac "Editors Choice" of the show as well as improving it's ET and MPH to 13.29@108.67 made the weekend truly complete. It is becoming very clear that we have a 13 second driver in a 12 second car. ______________________________________________________________________________ Shannon does not have a web site but is the most highly recommended of the listed below. Shannon lives in Chickamauga,Ga but works out of East Ridge,Tn. He has the ability and knowledge only a few posess to take the show car finish to the next level.Restorations,Refinishing and Collision work all done right and as promised. You can contact him at (423)-400-0564 or email him at streetmachinehead@hotmail.com I spent over a year looking for Shannon thru his incredible work and glad I did.

Pontiac has saved all of it's records. So it's a win/win situation for you and PHS to find out the true history of your car( at least the inital year). PHS will set you up with info such as your car's original invoice, window sticker, originating dealer info and the list goes on and on. All for about $60.00.
Pontiac historical services
Great place for all your Pontiac specific speed parts and information. Jeff Kauffman and his brother Mark started the business. It is located in Ohio and is a great alternative to Butler. They also have full time guys porting and machining. With an engine dyno on site you know these guys only care about making Pontiac's go fast.

HPP is a must for the Pontiac enthuiast. Get your monthly fix of all the tech info and upcoming regional and national events. Very cool monthly shootout section.

My most recent addiction, Created by four of the coolest guys around in 2001. Born from the factory stock class. Dave Dudek,Terry Pennington,Joel Nystrom and Greg Gessler have had a real snowball effect with the growth and media coverage of their events. Factory appearing muscle cars running 13's 12's 11's and even a class best 10.59 @130 mph have people amazed on bias ply reproduction tires. The class is limited to 1955-1974 vehicles and the tech process is strictly enforced to keep the cars as factory appearing as possible.

Cliff is a guy that is not only invaluable to the Pontiac enthuiast he is very easy to talk to. He retired a few years ago from a Govt job to run full time CliffsQjet and enjoy his passion of Pontiac power. Cliff tests all of his carbs personally on his 11.64@115.30 mph 455 powered Ventura. Always going to the track Cliff takes that knowledge and applies it to your carb. From stock to a 900 cfm monster he can do it all.Cliffs Pontiac knowledge does not stop at the Carb, every aspect can be touched on... just ask.He also is a very detail oriented guy . Even if your newly aquired carb off E bay appears like it was pulled from Titanic he can make it look like it just came from Rochester.

Fred's pontiac info is a Pontiac Library of sorts. If you are unsure of a part or code check out Freds and double check to prevent buying something that may not be what it appears. From blocks, carbs, heads, intakes, rear ends the info is simply endless.

Jim Lehart's machine shop in Burkeville,Va was the pot at the end of the rainbow for me. After being pushed back and pushed back and then ignored by many Atlanta machine shops. I changed gears for my most recent engine. Jim literally wrote a chapter on the Pontiac short block and all it's quirks. He loves Pontiacs and will never ask you why you don't run a Chevy. Remember in Atlanta"If ya aint runnin on Saturday nite ya aint next". The Pontiac motor is as doomed as a Rotary for timely machine work.

The Hoghead boys are located in N.E Tennessee(in a secret location). With their brand of humor and the realities of parting a Trans Am, they will keep you coming back. Leaning toward the 77-81 Trans Am's, but love them all. A great place to find that much needed part to get back on the road. Check out the "Killed Trans am Page".

Located 2 blocks from the Big Chicken in Marietta.Arthur will take good care of you and answer as many stupid question as you can throw at him. Especially the one on why your car didnt make more power than it did. Very patient and a great place to get real numbers on your last investment. A cool color pic of the best pull as well.

Great people. Glad they have their new facility in Braselton to cater to a larger audience as well as the Saturday cruise. I think it's cool that the company was started and built around the Trans Am in a Tucker basement.
