years.
This amazing 71' 4 speed was found stored in Alabama with only 12K miles on the
odometer, still in the original owners name.Luckily it's new owner Jimmy Jarrett was
able to bring it home.
Jimmy lives in Rome and enjoys of his pair of bookend 71' - 72' Trans Am's.

1977
New styling with square head lights begins a trend. The change to the metric system
invades the trademark hood scoop.Horsepower is on its way back as well as it's
popularity in a certain movie filmed in Cumming /Interstate Ga 400.Many black
Trans Am's are looked upon as a "Bandit Edition" but only 77' can truly take that
nameplate. You are looking at Dave Strand's original Goldenrod yellow 77'. The car boasts
74k original miles as well as the factory 400 and the possible only color combination with
the firethorn red velour interior. Dave is a resident of the city of Marietta and found this
beauty in it's only home of Kansas City. The car came with every collectors dream of the
endless papertrail. Dave currently has this true find for sale.

The Famous WS-6 package made it's debut.Styling made the small change only of grill design.
The "Actor" the car had become starred in it's second big budget flick in as many years in"Hooper".
1979
The last restyling year saw the end of the 4 speed 400. Also the 10th anniversary
had come and gone. Many Trans Am's by this time have had their claim to fame but
few had the balance of Power and Handling like the 79'. The WS-6 package had truly
come into it's own with the four wheel disc brake addition.
You are viewing the 79' of Patrick Mackintosh. The Nocturne Blue knockout has
only 25K original miles on it's factory 403.It was ordered with many creature comforts
such as powerwindows, locks, cruise, trunk release and map lights.

Styling remained the same and Turbo charging became an option. This last Design run saw many "Pace Cars" from Daytona to Indy.

The car sports the 4.9 liter (301) normally aspirated engine backed by an automatic transmission.
Having an accomplished car like this in the area I feel is a real treat.

1981
It all came to an end in 1981. As with the 77-78 it was very hard to see the
difference between 80-81.The 85 mph speedometer told of things to come.
